Andrew Cottrell is the Managing Director of AEG’s Planning and Program Design group. He provides advisory and analytical consulting for a comprehensive range of demand-side projects and studies covering energy efficiency, demand response, beneficial electrification, customer generation, and grid planning. Services include program design, regulatory support, cost-effectiveness analysis, program evaluation, market potential, and business strategy.

Andrew has 15 years of experience in regulatory support, specializing in expert testimony, settlement negotiations, regulatory strategy, and discovery requests and responses. Andrew has testified before public service commissions in multiple states, including IL, MI, IN, NJ, CO, and NY. Andrew has a Master of Public Policy (M.P.P.) degree from the State University of Rutgers – Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Engineering from Lafayette College. He is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP).
