FirstEnergy has been a dedicated VisionDSM client for over a decade. FirstEnergy initially deployed AEG’s VisionDSM portfolio management system in Ohio, and as their programs evolved, VisionDSM was readily able to grow with them. Today, FirstEnergy uses the VisionDSM platform as their central data repository across all of their 9 operating companies in the 4 states where they administer DSM programs.
VisionDSM, a flexible and secure platform, enables FirstEnergy to consolidate DSM program data from multiple external and internal systems into one centralized platform, perform comprehensive QA/QC and data validation on incoming data, run analytics both within and across all of their business entities, view configurable, dynamic dashboards, and run comprehensive reports to support tactical and strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements and evaluations.
In 2019 alone, VisionDSM tracked, validated, and analyzed 1,080,634 MWH of DSM program impacts across their operating companies.
